Football Recap: University Prep Griffins vs. Hilton Cadets
University Prep extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from C.J. Robinson Jr.. The University Prep Griffins came out on top against the Hilton Cadets by a score of 20-10 on Saturday thanks in part to Robinson Jr., who rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per carry. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Robinson Jr. was just one part of a punishing run game: University Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 259 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in four consecutive contests.
University Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hilton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
