Basketball Recap: River Dell's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

River Dell won the last time they faced Bergen Tech, and Pat Sweeny did his part to make sure it happened again. The River Dell Golden Hawks skirted past the Bergen Tech Knights 51-48 thanks in part to Sweeny, who went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

River Dell's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Bergen Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

River Dell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-63 defeat against Ramsey on the 4th. Bergen Tech has also already played their next matchup (against Lyndhurst), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
