Football Game Preview: Centennial Cougars vs. Hillsboro Burros + How To Watch

The Centennial Cougars will square off against the Hillsboro Burros at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsboro took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Centennial, who comes in off a win.

Centennial got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They were the clear victors by a 45-20 margin over Lawson. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won three contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Page, falling 48-0. While losing is never fun, the Burros can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Patriots are ranked eighth).

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Hillsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Centennial against Hillsboro when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 38-9 win. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Burros have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
