Basketball Recap: Morrice Comes Up Short

Morrice was the 42-37 winner over Byron when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the Morrice Orioles and the Byron Eagles didn't end well, with the Morrice Orioles falling 47-31.

Morrice has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Byron, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morrice will venture away from home to challenge Genesee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Genesee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season. As for Byron, they will challenge Chesaning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
