Volleyball Recap: Whitko Comes Up Short

Whitko was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Culver Academies Eagles. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Whitko saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Meredith Hindbaugh had six kills, six digs, and one block.

Whitko's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Culver Academies, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Whitko has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Wabash on the 20th. As for Culver Academies, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Columbia City on the 20th.
