Victor Valley is 9-1 against Barstow since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Victor Valley Jackrabbits will challenge the Barstow Aztecs at 4:30 p.m. Victor Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Victor Valley turned things around against Lakewood back in December of 2024. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Barstow, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They never let Adelanto onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. Given the Aztecs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Saints are ranked 920th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With that draw, Victor Valley's record moves to 3-8-3. As for Barstow, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-2.

Victor Valley took their victory against Barstow in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Victor Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Barstow turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
