Basketball Recap: Eminence Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Eminence lost against Gallatin County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The match between the Eminence Warriors and the Gallatin County Wildcats didn't end well, with the Eminence Warriors falling 61-44. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th in Kentucky, while the Wildcats are ranked 103rd in Kentucky).

Eminence's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for Gallatin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Eminence nor Gallatin County have any future games scheduled.
