Union took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Curwensville, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past Moshannon Valley 3-0 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
