Soccer Recap: Virginia High Takes a Loss

Virginia High was the 4-1 winner over Tazewell when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats lost 4-1 to the Bulldogs on Thursday.

Virginia High's goal came courtesy of Alex Kariuki, which was the first he's scored this season.

Virginia High's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Tazewell, their record is now 6-2-1.

Virginia High wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against Richlands on the 22nd. As for Tazewell, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Marion on the 22nd.
