Softball Recap: Cashmere Drops Season-High Score on Zillah

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cashmere). They put the hurt on the Zillah Leopards with a sharp 21-8 victory on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 on Tuesday.

The win made it two in a row for Cashmere and bumps their season record up to 3-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Zillah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Cashmere will take on Mt. Baker at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Zillah, they will face off against Wahluke at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Leopards are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
