Soccer Recap: Center Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Center was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pine Tree Pirates, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 back in January.

Center has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. Pine Tree's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center will host Tatum at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Tree, they will welcome Kilgore at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Kilgore will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Pine Tree surely won't give up without a fight.
