Basketball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

Lowell lost against Greenville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lowell Red Arrows came up short against the Greenville Yellow Jackets, falling 64-43. While losing is never fun, the Red Arrows can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 485th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 34th).

Lowell's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Greenville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowell will head out to face off against Coopersville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenville, they will challenge Sparta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
