Basketball Recap: North Bergen Comes Up Short

North Bergen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 58-42 bruising from the Bayonne Bees. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while the Bees are ranked 102nd).

North Bergen's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Bayonne, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

North Bergen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-42 defeat against Hoboken on the 23rd. As for Bayonne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-47 loss against Snyder on the 23rd.
