Volleyball Game Preview: Calabasas Coyotes vs. Agoura Chargers

Calabasas is 1-9 against Agoura since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Coyotes will head out on the road to square off against the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Calabasas came up short against Westlake and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-16, 27-29, 25-17, 25-22.

Agoura had taken Newbury Park down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Chargers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2.

Agoura was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Newbury Park work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 28-26, 25-16, 22-25, 15-3.

Calabasas' loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Agoura, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.

Calabasas might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Agoura when the teams last played back in September. Can the Coyotes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
