The Kentridge Chargers will face off against the Auburn Riverside Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Kentridge turned things around against Hazen on Friday. They walked away with a 49-36 win over the Highlanders.

Kentridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrea Pop, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Pop a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaya Brown, who posted seven points and ten rebounds.
Kentridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 30 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Auburn Riverside had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three last Saturday. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 67-57. Given the Ravens' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 73rd in Washington, while the Wildcats are ranked 287th in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kentridge better keep an eye on Cora Lowe. She was instrumental in Auburn Riverside's win, going 10 of 13 on her way to 26 points and six steals. The contest was Lowe's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of CK Kandola, who had 22 points.
Auburn Riverside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Kentridge, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Kentridge has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Auburn Riverside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Kentridge against Auburn Riverside in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, as the squad secured a 56-25 victory. Will Kentridge repeat their success, or does Auburn Riverside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
