Softball Recap: Leadership Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against South Davidson

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bethany Community, Leadership Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 16-4 margin over the South Davidson Wildcats. The Falcons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Julie Lowe and Alexandra Faenza did most of the damage at the plate: Lowe went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Faenza scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-5. With that strong performance, Faenza is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Hopkins, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
