Basketball Recap: Purdue Broad Ripple Drops Highest Score of Season Against Victory College Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Purdue Broad Ripple). They snuck past the Victory College Prep Bulldogs with a 42-36 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lynx as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Purdue Broad Ripple found their leader in freshman Nadia Harris, who went 9 for 17 on her way to 20 points in addition to seven boards and four blocks. Harris has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Maloree Green, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Purdue Broad Ripple's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Victory College Prep, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Purdue Broad Ripple will head out to take on BELIEVE Circle City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory College Prep, they will host Herron at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
