Volleyball Recap: Washington Union Takes a Loss

Washington Union and Nipomo squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Washington Union had to settle for second. They came up short against the Titans, falling 3-0. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Nipomo scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

Washington Union's loss dropped their record down to 11-21. As for Nipomo, their win bumped their record up to 20-14.

Washington Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nipomo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Reedley on the 8th.
