Grandview had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Rice Bulldogs with a sharp 18-0 win. The Zebras have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Grandview pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Rice, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9-1.

Grandview will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
