Westfield skates past Tri-West Hendricks with ease

Recap: Westfield Shamrocks vs. Tri-West Hendricks Bruins

The Westfield Shamrocks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 68-27 win over Tri-West Hendricks on the road. Westfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 25 points or more this season.

Nic Book continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Wise, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two blocks.

Tri-West Hendricks lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ryan Miller, who scored eight points. Max Robertson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and three blocks.

Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Tri-West Hendricks, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season.

Westfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Avon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-West Hendricks, they will head out on the road to face off against Danville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Danville is on a five-game streak of home wins, Tri-West Hendricks a eight-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
