Volleyball Recap: Burton Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Burton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past Aggieland HomeSchool 3-0 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Burton in their matchups with Aggieland HomeSchool: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-11.

Lexi Broesche paced Burton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Broesche got some help from Adison Harmel and her 19 assists. Finally, Natalie Hodde kept Burton's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Burton's win bumped their record up to 27-9. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Burton will venture away from home to face off against Mumford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Alpha Omega Academy at 6:00 p.m.
