Football Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern fell victim to Atherton and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Ravens. The defeat leaves the Eagles still looking for their first win of the season.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Atherton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern will head out to face off against Wayne County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Atherton, they will venture away from home to challenge Fern Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 10.8 points per game this season, so the Ravens' offense will have their work cut out for them.
