Tuscaloosa County extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-6. They took a blow against the Hillcrest Patriots, falling 67-27. On the bright side, the 27- point effort marked the Wildcats' highest-scoring matchup to date.

As for Hillcrest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Tuscaloosa County is ranked 156th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hillcrest got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacobi Harris out in front who rushed for 81 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 70 receiving yards and one score. Kahden Smith also helped out with an impressive 171 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest is set to challenge their familiar foe Thompson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Jordan Shambley and Trent Seaborn.
