Soccer Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Meade on Wednesday, Chesapeake came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the Arundel Wildcats on Thursday, falling 4-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Chesapeake came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Arundel are ranked 37th).

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Arundel, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Chesapeake will head out to face off against Glen Burnie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arundel, they will venture away from home to square off against Broadneck at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arundel will need to watch out since Broadneck have now posted at least four goals in their last five matchups.
