Volleyball Game Preview: Limon Badgers vs. Lamar Thunder

Limon is 1-8 against Lamar since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Badgers will challenge the Thunder at 9:00 a.m.

Limon came up short against Wiggins on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Lamar waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Stallions.

Lamar's got stronger as the match went on, holding Banning Lewis Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-10.

Limon better keep an eye on Keiton Chavira. She was instrumental in Lamar's win, getting 19 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Chavira has posted since back in October of 2024.

Limon's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Limon couldn't quite get it done against Lamar in their previous matchup back in September of 2023 as they fell 3-1. Can the Badgers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
