Owensboro extended their postseason success on Friday against Fairdale. They really took it to the Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-7 win. Considering the Red Devils have won ten matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Evan Hampton was his usual excellent self, rushing for 326 yards and five scores while picking up 17.2 yards per carry. Those five rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Kingston Dillard was another key player, picking up 108 receiving yards and one touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Owensboro was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 350 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
