After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, South Wake brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Everything went their way against the Thales Academy Apex Titans on Wednesday as they made off with a 12-1 win. With that victory, the Sabres brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Noah Wright, who scored two runs and stole five bases. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Brodie Henderson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

South Wake always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

With the win, South Wake broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10. As for Thales Academy Apex, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
