Meanwhile, Kamehameha Kapalama faced Punahou in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors came up short against the Buff n' Blue, falling 14-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Buff n' Blue recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Kamehameha Kapalama now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mid-Pacific Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
