Recap: Troy Trojans vs. Lincoln County Lions
This season hasn't been kind to the Troy Trojans, who are still winless after their seventh game. They took a serious blow against Lincoln County on Tuesday, falling 81-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Troy of the 59-10 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Dylan Sharp continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lincoln County, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine steals. Sharp has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Haidyn Guckenberg, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lincoln County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing St. Ignatius the next time they take the court. Lincoln County will host St. Ignatius at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Troy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
