While Port Edwards's victory against Tigerton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blackhawks skirted past the Tigers 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Port Edwards was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 27-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-10.

Tigerton lost on Monday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaelyn Brady, who had 26 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Renata Nordwig, who had 14 digs and seven aces.

Port Edwards' victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Tigerton, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Edwards will host Wild Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tigerton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Marion at 7:00 p.m.
