Baseball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

If Northeast was riding high fresh off their 28-1 takedown of Meade on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell just short of the Annapolis Panthers by a score of 7-5 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since March 23rd.

Northeast has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Annapolis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.
