The Sand Rock Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Cedar Bluff on Monday as Sand Rock made off with a 58-35 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sand Rock.

Sand Rock had a senior duo take command as Katelyn St.Clair scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and five steals and Zoey Handy scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Handy hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Stephens, who scored 12 points.

Sand Rock has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Cedar Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.

Sand Rock won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fyffe at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. Fyffe is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Cedar Bluff won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Coosa Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. Coosa Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 406th, while Cedar Bluff is ranked 184th).
