Football Recap: Falkville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Falkville can now relate to. They took a blow against the Vincent Yellow Jackets on Thursday, falling 34-6. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

Reed Dillard threw for 120 yards and one TD. Eli Harris was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Brodie Bennett rushed for 36 yards.

Jayden Roberts continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Vincent, rushing for 207 yards and three scores while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Roberts has posted since back in August. Jay Posey made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Falkville moved to 8-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Vincent, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.
