Soccer Recap: Union Takes a Loss

The matchup between Union and Carbon on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Cougars lost 8-0 to the Dinos. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Union has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Carbon, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Coincidentally, Union and Carbon will both be playing North Sanpete the next time they take the pitch. The Cougars will host the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dinos will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
