Lutheran's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Faith Academy Flames with a sharp 12-2 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Keegan Stinson made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on James Fiorenza, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. Louie Hoch was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI.

Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are 9-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Lutheran's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Faith Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

As of now, neither Lutheran nor the Flames have any future games scheduled.
