The contest between Propel Braddock Hills and Winchester Thurston wasn't particularly close, with Propel Braddock Hills falling 65-51. Propel Braddock Hills was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Winchester Thurston apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Propel Braddock Hills still got an impressive performance from Jarell Santiago , who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kato Hill, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds.
Even though they lost, Propel Braddock Hills were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Propel Braddock Hills bumped their record down to 3-8 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Winchester Thurston, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Propel Braddock Hills is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Bishop Canevin at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Hopefully Bishop Canevin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday. As for Winchester Thurston, they will be playing at home against Nazareth Area at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
