Basketball Recap: Pleasant Valley Comes Up Short

If Pleasant Valley was feeling good fresh off their 61-29 takedown of East Stroudsburg South last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pleasant Valley Bears took a 66-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks on Thursday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Pleasant Valley now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Bethlehem Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Pleasant Valley has already played their next contest, a 60-58 win against Bangor on the 18th. Bethlehem Catholic has also already played their next game (against Harry S. Truman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
