Basketball Game Preview: Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines vs. Raymond Central Mustangs

The Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Raymond Central Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Wilber-Clatonia came up short against H&H and fell 62-55.

Wilber-Clatonia's loss came about despite a quality game from Jameson Conway, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. Aven Smith was another key player, putting up seven points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Raymond Central came up short against Milford on Saturday, falling 66-41. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 16-11 in the first quarter.

Raymond Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wilber-Clatonia, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.

Wilber-Clatonia strolled past Raymond Central in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 50-33. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
