Softball Recap: Evansville Central Bears vs. Vincennes Lincoln Alices
After flying high against Mt. Vernon last Wednesday, Evansville Central came back down to earth. The Bears came up short against the Vincennes Lincoln Alices on Thursday, falling 15-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered against the Alices since March 28, 2016.
Maddie Glaser was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Evansville Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Vincennes Lincoln, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
