Volleyball Recap: Madera Coyotes vs. San Joaquin Memorial Panthers

Madera was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers. If the Coyotes were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-8.

San Joaquin Memorial had a senior duo take command as Sarah Villalvazo had 11 digs and five assists and Jillian Yovino had seven digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Yovino.

Madera's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for San Joaquin Memorial, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 13-11 record.
