Baseball Recap: IMG Academy White Comes Up Short

IMG Academy White was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Parrish Community Bulls, falling 14-5.

IMG Academy White saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Coleman, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Owen Armstead was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

IMG Academy White's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Parrish Community, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

Coming up, IMG Academy White will welcome Imagine School at North Port at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parrish Community, they will take on St. Mark's at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Parrish Community is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
