Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask LaVergne). Everything went their way against the Stewarts Creek Red Hawks on Tuesday as they made off with a 7-2 victory. The matchup was close at halftime, but LaVergne turned on the heat in the second half with four goals.

The win (which was LaVergne's third in a row) raised their record to 6-7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three games. As for Stewarts Creek, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4-1.
