Volleyball Recap: Wheatland-Grinnell Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wheatland-Grinnell waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Golden Plains Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Saturday.

Wheatland-Grinnell easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18.

Aliviah Ball paced Wheatland-Grinnell's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ball got some help from Evangeline Godek and her 26 assists.

Wheatland-Grinnell's win bumped their record up to 23-13. As for Golden Plains, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-15-1 record this season.

Wheatland-Grinnell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Golden Plains, they will square off against Western Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
