Basketball Game Preview: Bristow Pirates vs. Cleveland Tigers

After both having extra time off, the Bristow Pirates and the Cleveland Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Bristow is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Two weeks ago, Bristow came up short against Perkins-Tryon and fell 53-41. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Cleveland might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Berryhill an easy 71-45 win. The Tigers have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Bristow's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cleveland, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.

Bristow was able to grind out a solid victory over Cleveland in their previous matchup back in February, winning 63-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bristow since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
