Basketball Recap: Mount Tahoma Takes a Loss

Mount Tahoma was the 61-59 winner over Gig Harbor when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Mount Tahoma T-Birds fell just short of the Gig Harbor Tides by a score of 65-63 on Wednesday.

Mount Tahoma's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Gig Harbor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Tahoma will square off against Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mount Tahoma's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Gig Harbor, they will venture away from home to challenge Timberline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timberline will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Gig Harbor surely won't give up without a fight.
