Basketball Recap: Coahoma Takes a Loss

If Coahoma was feeling good fresh off their 61-32 takedown of Stanton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coahoma Bulldogs took a blow against the Brownfield Cubs on Friday, falling 86-58. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cubs: they've now lost four in a row.

Coahoma's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Brownfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Coahoma will be playing at home against Denver City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brownfield, they will head out to take on Crane at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brownfield will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
