Baseball Recap: Eastern Tech Comes Up Short

If Eastern Tech was feeling good fresh off their 17-5 takedown of Sparrows Point on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mavericks wound up with the same score they had in their last game (17-5), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against the Pointers since April 5, 2024.

Eastern Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Sparrows Point, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eastern Tech beat the Pointers by a score of 17-6 later that day.
