Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Springfield walked away with it. They came out on top against the Lake Braddock Bruins by a score of 9-4 on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Spartans, who have now won ten contests in a row.

West Springfield got a massive performance out of Elaina Primozic, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Natalie Coughlin, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

West Springfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Braddock only posted a batting average of .120.

West Springfield's record now sits at 22-6. As for Lake Braddock, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.

As of now, neither West Springfield nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
