Baseball Game Preview: Foxborough Warriors vs. Medfield Warriors

Foxborough are taking a road trip to face off against Medfield at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Foxborough 4, Medfield 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Foxborough's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Stoughton.

Meanwhile, Medfield waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Clockers with a sharp 15-4 win. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Medfield's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Foxborough, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.
