Softball Recap: Forestview Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Forestview and Stuart W. Cramer, and Stuart W. Cramer kept the tradition alive. The Jaguars fell just short of the Storm by a score of 21-20 on Monday. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their loss to the Storm from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Sophia Green made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in five of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Addley Phillips was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Forestview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they moved to 2-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forestview will face off against Ashbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greenwave have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.64 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they will take on West Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Storm will need to watch out since the Rebels have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
